Mercury Craft Company was founded in 2019 by Meg Eales. She was foolishly taught to sew at a young age with the hopes that it would keep her out of trouble. Unfortunately for her family and close friends, this only opened the door to many years of crafting insanity. Between handmade gifts and hoarding collecting fabrics, Meg is happiest when she’s covered in threads and elbow-deep in a project (or three!). She had always dreamed of owning her own quilt shop, and after years of working in fabric and craft stores, she decided it was finally time to set out on her own.

Named for Mercury, the fleet-footed Roman god of shopkeepers and merchants, Mercury Craft Company is all about swift and exceptional service. With a passion for color and creativity, our goal is to inspire quilters and sewers of all ages, genders, skill levels, and styles. While we tend to consider ourselves a more modern shop, we recognize the importance and necessity of other genres and techniques. We truly embrace the old saying that “variety is the spice of life” and are confident that regardless of your preferred tastes you’ll find something here that will excite you.
