Equally adept at oil and acrylic painting, airbrush, and dry media, Sue Ellen Brown has enjoyed over four decades of success in the commercial and fine art worlds. She has illustrated children’s books for a variety of publishers, and worked with commercial clients such as Mcdonald's, Denny’s, and Pepsi, producing countless images for promotional materials ranging from gift wrap to Happy Meals. 

In addition to her commercial work, Sue Ellen continues to produce paintings in a range of graphic, impressionist, and illustrative styles, from an emotive series of seashell abstractions to her whimsical Dracoserific alphabet, made entirely of dragons. Whatever the subject, her work describes volumes within an elegantly designed space, from endearing animal characters to richly crafted fantasies, dripping with mythic detail.
