Collection: Layer Cakes

Layer Cakes, 10" Sundaes, 10" Squares, etc. are comprised of 10" x 10" squares of quilting fabrics and typically include 42 pieces but this number can vary by designer and brand. While many fabric manufacturers have their own names for their products, the term Layer Cake was coined by Moda Fabrics and has become shorthand for quilters referring to a package of coordinating 10" squares. These are similar to Charm Packs but larger.
