Hera Marker

The Hera Marker is great for temporarily marking and creasing patchwork, quilting, and sewing projects. By running the rounded edge along most woven fabrics (this includes quilt-weight cotton) you can create a delicate crease. The other end of the marker tapers to a fine point, which is useful for folding back the edges of applique pieces. It can also be used as a quilting stiletto.
