Norm & Nanette Quilt Pattern

Gnome siblings Norm & Nanette can be pieced using conventional patchwork techniques. The gnomes’ hats are cut using the included full-size cutting guide and pieced using a shortcut method that avoids fussy matching of points. Everything else is made using squares and rectangles. No paper piecing!

Norm & Nanette is precut-friendly, using 10” x 10” squares to make all of the gnomes’ hats, clothes, and boots. That means it’s also a great project for using scraps! The materials requirements on the pattern back show yardages for making all of the faces, hair, and beards the same. The pattern also includes cutting guides for using 10” squares to make the individual gnome’s hair, faces, and beards from different fabrics.
